About Bar Pasture

Bar Pasture Stables

Bar Pasture Stables is a small, friendly riding school and livery yard located just outside Thorney, Peterborough. Privately owned, and run by Laura Nowlan, the stables were opened in Spring 2012 with brand new stables and an all weather arena providing outstanding facilities to the yard set up. The easily accessible location just off the A47, offers great off-road hacking across the fens with no roads for miles.

We want all of our riders not only to enjoy their hours spent on horseback or in the yard learning equine skills, but also to come away with a sense of achievement and a desire to get back in the saddle as soon as possible. At Bar Pasture Stables we believe in tailoring your riding experience to suit your ability in order to get the most out of your ride and the horse.

So whether you are looking for a quiet hack around the countryside, to improve your riding in the school or somewhere secure and quiet to keep your horse; Bar Pasture Stables is the perfect choice!
